Our staff are highly committed and dedicated to caring and educating babies and children. In our nursery we value our diverse group of staff from those who are young and newly qualified to the more mature, long term practitioners.
They are patient and professional and acknowledge that – parents are children’s primary educators’. We value the need to have close links with home.
We endeavour to build a ‘home from home environment’ to compliment every child’s individual lifestyle where possible, ensuring parents feel secure and comfortable when leaving their children in our care.
Staff have a comprehensive library of qualifications and training to provide a diverse level of experience and curriculum to all ages, learning abilities and styles of the children in our nursery such as Makaton, Children’s learning Schemas and Boys will be Boys positive behaviour management amongst many.
Our staff have all undergone the mandatory enhanced DBS checks which enable them to work with young children.
As a bare minimum our staffing ratios comply with the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework which specifies numbers of staff to children as below:
